Emory University seeks two senior scholars to fill the Raymond Schinazi Chair in Bioethics and Christian Thought and the Raymond Schinazi Chair in Bioethics and Jewish Thought. Scholars may come from any relevant academic discipline, and should have a strong record of scholarship and teaching in the impact of Christian or Jewish thought on one or more areas of bioethics, including health, medicine, and research. In addition to extending scholarship and teaching, the positions will join current health sciences and ethics faculty in providing creative leadership in various interdisciplinary and interreligious bioethics initiatives bridging the Health Sciences and Emory College. The successful applicants will hold a joint appointment in the School of Medicine, the appropriate Department at Emory College, and the University-wide Center for Ethics.

An advanced degree is required, and a tenured appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level is anticipated.
